Welcome to check in at The Minicube
The Minicube is located on a small island in the Piteå archipelago, just 400 meters from the mainland. Here the sea, light and tranquility are your best friends.
There are no roads and no cars on the island. Just nature close by, water all around and a place where you can quickly unwind.
In summer you will be transferred by small boat. In winter, transfers are arranged by snowmobile.
Room for two. The toilet is an outdoor toilet, you take a shower in the sauna and you cook your food in the outdoor kitchen. There is a small refrigerator and microwave.
A small cabin with a big sense of nature
The Minicube is for those who want to stay close to the sea, close to nature and close to the stillness. It's smaller in size, but the experience all around is vast: the archipelago, the view, the silence and the feeling of leaving everyday life behind on the mainland.
Here you stay simply, secluded and close to nature, with access to a wood-fired sauna and an outdoor jacuzzi at 38°C year-round.
The Minicube works beautifully for a smaller group, or as extra accommodation next to The Cube when you travel as a larger party.
Leave the mainland behind
What's special about The Minicube isn't that you have to travel far to get away. The island lies close to Piteå, yet feels like a little world of its own.
When you arrive, sea views, a calm island setting and days that don't need to be filled with much at all await you. Take a sauna. Soak in the warmth. Sit outside for a long while. Watch the light shift over the water.
Summer by the sea
In summer, you cross to the island by small boat. Once there, bright evenings, sea views and archipelago life at a calm pace await.
This is a stay for those who want to wake up close to the water, have breakfast outside, swim, take a sauna and let the day be guided more by the weather and the mood than by plans.
Winter on the island
In winter, the transfer to the island is by snowmobile. The Minicube then takes on a different kind of stillness: cold air, snow, dark evenings and the chance to experience the northern lights when conditions are right.
After a day outdoors, the sauna and the warm jacuzzi at 38°C, year-round, await.
